JULIANA GODLEWSKI
PILATES TEACHER
"Find strength, healing and joy through pilates and movement."

I am originally from Orange County, California, and I'm a professional ballet dancer, choreographer, and teacher. I began practicing Pilates around the age of 12 as my ballet training intensified and my growth spurts became more painful. Pilates quickly became an essential part of my routine, and I continued practicing alongside my ballet training while at schoo at the University of Utah, where I earned my BFA in Ballet.

While training at the School of Dance at the U, I had the opportunity to dance professionally in New York, study in-depth courses in Kinesiology and Pilates, and spend countless hours in the PT/Pilates reformer room. After graduating, I danced professionally with Ballet Project OC, Ballet RI, and most recently Sacramento Ballet. Wherever dance has taken me, I always manage to find my way back to a reformer.

I'm currently based in the Boston area, freelancing as a dancer and choreographer while pursuing my full comprehensive certification through Balanced Body. Through injuries, transitions, and emotional ups and downs, my Pilates practice has always been a source of healing — something I hope to share with everyone I teach.
